UPPER POTTSGROVE – The engagement of Lyndsay Sherrie Drumheller of Upper Pottsgrove and Matthew Brian Schlegel of Mertztown was announced by her parents, Sherrie and Allan Drumheller, 165 Hanover Drive, Upper Pottsgrove.

Ms. Drumheller is a 2007 graduate of Pottsgrove High School and a 2011 graduate of Albright College with a degree in psychology, elementary and early childhood education.

Her fiancé is the son of Flora and Barry Schlegel of Mertztown. He is a 2009 graduate of Brandywine Heights High School and a 2014 graduate of Albright College with a degree in Spanish and elementary education.

An October 2017 wedding is planned.

LANCASTER – The engagement of Ali B. McEvoy and Eric S. Campbell, both of Lancaster, was announced by her parents, James and Cindy McEvoy, 2717 Gail Drive, Gilbertsville.

Ms. McEvoy is a 2010 graduate of Boyertown Area High School and a 2013 graduate of the University of Maryland with a bachelor of science degree in family studies. She is a member of the USA Women’s National Field Hockey Team, Manheim.

Her fiancé is the son of Mike and Amy McCutcheon of Frederick, Md. He is a 2005 graduate of Governor Thomas Johnson High School, a 2011 graduate of the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in nutrition science and a 2014 graduate of the University of Maryland with a master’s degree in nutrition science. He is a financial consultant with PNC Bank, Hershey.

A December 27, 2015 wedding is planned at Presidential Caterers, Norristown.

Upper Frederick – Mr. and Mrs. Louis E. Schodle, 429 Fagleysville Road, were honored on their 60^th wedding anniversary at a celebration hosted by their children at the Pennsburg Diner.

The Schodles are the parents of two daughters, Karen Schodle of Royersford and Beth Hohberger-McCarty of Warrington.

Mrs. Schodle, the former Nancy J. Grubb, is a homemaker and Avon representative.

Her husband is a retired mechanic specialist and owner of Lou’s Auto Service, Upper Frederick.

They were married on Sept. 3, 1955 in St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Obelisk, by Pastor Elton Angstadt.

The Schodles have one grandchild, Lauren Hohberger.
