SUFFOLK, Va. – The engagement of Karen Elizabeth Francica and Jonathan Edward Virtue, both of Suffolk, Va., was announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Francica, 1446 Mensch Lane, Gilbertsville.

Ms. Francica is a 2003 graduate of Boyertown Area High School, a 2008 graduate of West Chester University with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and a 2011 graduate of West Chester University with a master of education degree in school counseling. She is a guidance counselor at Windsor Middle School, Windsor, Va.

Her fiancé is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Virtue, 54 Overlook Circle, Collegeville. He is a 2001 graduate of Archbishop John Carroll High School, a 2005 graduate of West Chester University with a bachelor of arts degree in music education and a 2008 graduate of West Chester University with a master of music degree in music performance. He is a professional trumpet player in the U.S. Air Force, Langley AFB, Hampton, Va.

An August 3, 2013 wedding at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Pottstown, is planned.

 

GILBERTSVILLE – The engagement of Amber Leigh Morris and David Millard Rishel, both of Gilbertsville, was announced by her mother, Patricia Morris of Philadelphia, formerly of

Country Club Road, Royersford.

Ms. Morris is a 2001 graduate of St. Pius X High School, a 2005 graduate of Albany University with a bachelor of science degree in psychology and a 2009 graduate of Eastern University with a master’s degree in school psychology. She is a school psychologist at Wyomissing School District.

Her fiancé  is the son of Dale Rishel, 947 West Valley Road, Pottstown and the late Millard Wayne Rishel. He is a 2003 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School, a graduate of Montgomery County Community College with an associate degree in liberal arts, and he also attended West Chester University. He is a municipal employee for the North Coventry Township Road Department.

A June 8, 2013 wedding at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Sea Isle City, N.J. is planned, followed by a reception at the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor.

 EARL – Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Reustle, 231 School House Road, recently celebrated their 50^th wedding anniversary.

The Reustles are the parents of two sons, Robert and Raymond, both of Boyertown, and two daughters, Katherine Fryer of East Greenville, and Theresa Reustle of Boyertown.

Mrs. Reustle is the former Jeannette Drexler.

Her husband is a retiree of Leeds and Northrup, North Wales, where he was a senior technician R&D.

They were married on February 16, 1963 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Philadelphia with the Rev. Donald L. Farrow officiating.

The Reustles have six grandchildren.

DOUGLASSVILLE – The engagement of Abby Louise Benfield of Douglassville and Jonathan Kalejta of Boyertown was announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Benfield, 412 Old Swede Road, Douglassville.

Ms. Benfield is a 2006 graduate of St. Pius X High School and a 2010 graduate of St. Joseph’s University with a degree in math education. She is a middle school math teacher at Mother Teresa Regional Catholic School, King of Prussia.

Her fiancé is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kalejta, 1280 Douglass Drive, Boyertown. He is a 2002 graduate of Boyertown Area High School and a 2006 graduate of Elizabethtown College with an English degree. He is an English teacher at Boyertown Area Junior High West.

A July 27, 2013 wedding at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Pottstown,  is planned.

EAST COVENTRY – The engagement of Jessica Weiss of East Coventry and Justin Fritz of North Coventry was announced by her parents, James and Barbara Weiss, 856 Vaughn Road, East Coventry.

Ms. Weiss is a 2010 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School. She is currently pursuing a bachelor of nursing degree from Alvernia University. She is a cashier at Kolbs Farm Store, Spring City, and a waitress at Coventry Café, Pottstown.

Her fiancé is the son of Greg and Michelle Fritz, 1477 Unionville Road, North Coventry. He is a 2009 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School, a 2012 graduate of the Montgomery County Community College Police Academy and currently attends Montgomery County Community College pursuing a degree in liberal studies. He is an installer with Corbet, Inc., Norristown.

An October 2015 wedding is planned.
