GLOUCESTER, MASS. – The engagement of Christin Shafer and Ryan Yurchick, both of Gloucester, Mass., was announced by her parents, Ruth and Robert Shafer, 179 Oberholtzer Road, Gilbertsville.

Ms. Shafer is a 2002 graduate of Boyertown Area High School and a 2006 graduate of Kutztown University with a bachelor of fine arts degree in communication design. She is a product and graphic designer with Boston Warehouse Trading Corp., Norwood, Mass.

Her fiancé is the son of Lann and Ronald Yurchick of Wilcox, Mass. He is a 2002 graduate of Johnsonburg Area High School, a 2007 graduate of Lock Haven University with a bachelor of science degree and a 2010 graduate of Lehigh University with a master of education degree. He is a health teacher at Briscoe Middle School, Beverly, Mass., and a coach at the North Shore Throwers Club.

A July 19, 2015 wedding is planned in Cape Ann, Mass.

POTTSTOWN – The engagement of Meredith Spring Loeper and Sean Adam Feather, both of Pottstown, was announced by her parents, Robert and Rochelle Loeper, 1039 Scholl Road, Pottstown.

Ms. Loeper is a 2005 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School and a 2009 graduate of East Stroudsburg University with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education.

Her fiancé is the son of Kathie and Fran Minotto, 105 Pleasant Meadow Drive, Douglassville, and Miles Feather, 506 N. Evans St., Pottstown.  He is a 2002 graduate of Boyertown Area High School and is employed at Iron Mountain, Collegeville, as a preferred client services agent.

A wedding date has not yet been announced.
