PHOENIXVILLE - Rachel
Strouse, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brian Strouse, 1082 Terrace Lane, Pottstown,
became the bride of Kris Bruno of Reading at The Barn on Bridge, 4 Bridge St.
The Rev. Paul Costello officiated at the double ring
ceremony held outdoors.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Pottstown High School and a
2008 graduate of Shippensburg University with a bachelor of arts degree in arts
and science and a business minor. She is operations manager at Michaels Arts
and Crafts, Pottstown.
The bridegroom, son of Michele Bruno of Phoenixville and Mr.
and Mrs. Robert Bruno of Blue Bell, is a 2003 graduate of Norristown Area High
School and a 2007 graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor of arts
degree in criminal justice. He is a line supervisor at Pitney Bowes, Reading.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by
her sister, Krista Potter; Ellen Strouse, sister-in-law of the bride; and Naomi
Bruno, the bridegroom’s niece.
Larry Bitting served as best man. Ushers were Steven
Strouse, brother of the bride; and Isaiah Johnson, the bridegroom’s nephew.
After a reception at The Barn on Bridge (in the renovated
barn), the newlyweds left on a wedding trip to Harper’s River, West Virginia.
Hart-Cocchimiglio Jr. engagement
YARDLEY – Susan Hart and Michael Cocchimiglio Jr., both of
Yardley, have announced their engagement.
Ms. Hart, formerly of Hillsborough, N.J., is a 2009 graduate
of Rutgers University with a bachelor of arts degree in journalism.
Her fiancé, formerly of Boyertown, is a 2006 graduate of
Albright College with a bachelor of arts degree in business. He is currently
pursuing a master of business administration degree from Penn State.
The couple met while working in the renewable energy
industry.
A September 2015 wedding in Collegeville is planned.
