VALLEY FORGE - Melissa Henion, daughter of Dorothy Hart,
Pine Street, Royersford, became the bride of Ryan Almond at an outdoor ceremony
in a wooded area at the top of Valley Forge mountain, a very special spot for
the couple. The bridegroom made a heart
out of stones for the couple to stand inside of for their vows.
Carol Poate was the officiant.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School.
She is an energy technician with PECO.
The bridegroom, son of Donna Hickman of Spring City and the
late Donald Hickman, is a 2002 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School and the Center for Arts and Technology-Pickering.
He is a mechanic with Wolfington Body Co., Exton.
The bride’s flowers were arranged by the mother of the
bridegroom.
The bride wore a pearl necklace and pink bracelet which
belonged to the mother of the bridegroom.
The newlyweds will reside at 310 Pikeland Ave., Spring City.
