NORTH PORT, FL. – Mr. and Mrs. Clarence (Babe) Hillegass, formerly of Pottstown, were honored on their 50^th wedding anniversary at a dinner with their children and grandson, followed by a trip to Phoenix, Grand Canyon, Utah, Yellowstone and Pennsylvania.

Mr. and Mrs. Hillegass are the parents of a daughter, Rhonda, wife of Garry Wunderlick of North Port, and a son, Lonnie, husband of Deborah Hillegass, of North Port.

Mrs. Joe Ann Hillegass is retired from Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. She is currently employed at Gulf Coast Urgent Care, Venice, Fl.

Her husband is retired and was self-employed as Babe’s Paint and Wallpaper in Pottstown.

They were married on August 30, 1963 at Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Boyertown, by the Rev. Harper Schneck.

They have one grandson, Cody MacAaron Hillegass.
