BOYERTOWN – Larisa Kristen Werstler of South Coventry,
daughter of Cynthia and Glenn Werstler, 201 Fairview St., became the bride of
Robert Charles DiSimone of East Norriton in the Church of the Good Shepherd
United Church of Christ, Boyertown.
The Rev. Dennis P. Christie, pastor, and Rev. John P.
McNamee, formerly of St. Malachy Roman Catholic Church, North Philadelphia,
officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
Organist Matthew Wary and soloist Chrissie Dies provided
music.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Boyertown Area High School
and a 2003 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor of arts
degree in English writing. She is a publicity director with Dufour Editions,
Eagle.
The bridegroom, son of Marie DiSimone of Audubon and the
late Bernardo DiSimone, is a 1989 graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School, a
1993 graduate of Ursinus College with a bachelor of arts degree, and a 2000
graduate of Drexel University with a master of business administration degree
and a management information systems degree. He is a systems analyst with Wells
Fargo, San Francisco.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by
her sister, Jennifer L. Keyser, matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Nicole
Springer, Siobhan O’Donnell and Autumn Kieber-Emmons.
David DeSimone, brother of the bridegroom, was best man.
James Werstler, brother of the bride, was an usher.
Paige Keyser and Corey Keyser, niece and nephew of the
bride, were guest book registrars.
Flowers were placed on the altar in memory of Bernardo DiSimone,
Ugo and Giuseppina DeSimone, Ralph and Helen Hartenstine, Geoffrey Werstler,
and Ralph and Katherine Werstler.
After a reception at the William Penn Inn, Gwynedd, the
newlyweds left on a wedding trip to Paris, France.
