LINFIELD
– Laura Michelle Kurtas, daughter of James and Kathleen Kurtas of Lower
Pottsgrove, became the bride of Christopher Michael Thompson of Glenolden in
Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church.
The
Rev. Paul Brandt, pastor, officiated.
Organist
Gia Padfield and soloist Julie Wickland provided music.
The
bride is a 2003 graduate of Pottsgrove High School and a 2008 graduate of West
Chester University with a bachelor of science degree in nursing.
The
bridegroom, son of Gregory and Pam Thompson, is a 2002 graduate of Interboro
High School and a 2007 graduate of West Chester University with a bachelor of
science degree in marketing.
Given
in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Katherine
Kurtas, maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kerri Owsiany, Heather Thompson, Carly
Bauer, Angela Flear, Justine Eckman, Lauren Caseley, Jessica Laverty and Lisa
Leister.
Gregory
Thompson, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were Dylan Thompson,
brother of the bridegroom; Daniel Kurtas, brother of the bride; James Sheridan,
Sean Sheridan, Michael O’Donnell, Ron Scrafano and Jim Caruso.
Readers
were Lauren Sheridan, Christina Sheridan and Janice Brasher.
A
reception was held at The Desmond, Malvern.

As a matter of fact, this place was recommended to us by the owners of the olive oil/balsamic vinegar shop right around the corner. They were ordering take out from here, and indeed, they seemed to frequent it quite often!
