DOUGLASSVILLE – The engagement of Adrienne Leigh Simmons of Douglassville and Matthew Ryan Stumhofer of Sinking Spring was announced by her parents, Timothy and Bonnie Simmons, 200 Ivy Lane, Douglassville.

Ms. Simmons is a 2000 graduate of Daniel Boone Area High School, a 2004 graduate of Gettysburg College with a bachelor’s degree in health and exercise science and a 2010 graduate of West Chester University with a master’s degree in school health. She is an elementary physical education teacher at Amity Intermediate and Amity Primary centers in the Daniel Boone school district, and a coach for the Daniel Boone girls’ basketball team.

Her fiancé is the son of Steven and Kathleen Stumhofer of Reading. He is a 2000 graduate of Reading High School, a 2004 graduate of Albright College with a bachelor’s degree in history/secondary education and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in school technology at Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre. He is a history teacher at The Citadel in the Reading School District, and an assistant swim coach at Schuylkill Valley High School.

A June 1, 2013 wedding is planned at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Douglassville, followed by a reception at The Phoenixville Foundry.

EARL – The engagement of April Agresta of the United Kingdom and Eric Jacewicz of the Republic of Korea was announced by her parents, Michael and Darcel Agresta, 5 Lenswood Drive, Earl Township.

Ms. Agresta is a 2008 graduate of Boyertown Area High School. She is an aircraft armament systems technician in the United States Air Force at RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom.

Her fiancé is the son of Joseph and Gail Jacewicz of Grand Rapids, Mich. He is a 2008 graduate of Union High School, Grand Rapids, Mich. He is an aircraft armament systems technician with the United States Air Force at Kunsan Air Force Base, Republic of Korea.

An October 12, 2013 wedding is planned in Grand Rapids, Mich.
